WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — A new report finds that if you live in the Hudson Valley, you don't have to be a mogul to be a gourmand.

Realtor.com just published its "Top 7 Cities Where Foodies Can Afford To Live—That Also Boast Michelin Restaurants" list and two Westchester locations made the list.

The online real estate site noted that America's best restaurants, the "eateries that bewitch our palates and make us long to return," tend to be in wealthy cities, like NYC, San Francisco and Los Angeles, "where Wall Street bigwigs, tech tycoons, and Hollywood glitterati are happy to slip away from their multimillion-dollar megamansions and fork over astronomical sums of cash for an exceptional meal."

However, amazing restaurants have also been opening in more affordable towns as well over the past few years.

"Though most of the country’s Michelin-recognized restaurants are in or near big, expensive cities, there are a few areas with access where housing is affordable," Realtor.com senior economic research analyst Hannah Jones said.
