Ameriprise Financial Volunteers Fight Hunger at Food Bank for Westchester

Mamaroneck, NY – November 15, 2013– Ameriprise Financial advisors, employees and clients recently joined forces to help ensure Westchester area families have nutritious meals to share this holiday season.

Organized by Michael P. Mazzilli, Private Wealth Advisor, he, his staff and clients gathered at the Food Bank for Westchester to sort food and pack boxes, in an effort to help the one in six Americans, including 16 million children, who struggle with hunger.

The event was part of an annual national day of service organized by Ameriprise in partnership with Feeding America, the nation’s leading anti-hunger organization. More than 9,000 Ameriprise financial advisors, employees and clients from across all 50 states spent the day helping more than 375 hunger-relief organizations prepare for increased demand for services around the holiday season.
