Flood aftermath in Mamaroneck

Help came quickly when I finally reached out!

https://fullercenter.org/We all know about the latest storm. When I was on the Belt Parkway Friday morning and I saw the amount of water on the highway, I knew that my house would flood again. Indeed it did. My whole backyard and basement was full of water since I live right at the Mamaroneck river. I cleaned the yard by myself, but could not find the courage to start with the basement. When I opened up the basement door, I knew I needed to reach out for help.

So Monday morning, I reached out to the Fuller Center on Mamaroneck Avenue and 10 minutes later they came to my house and helped with cleaning up my basement. I am so thankful to Mayor, Tom Murphy, Jim of the Fuller Center and their volunteers. Even Joe Torres from ABC7 Eyewitness News came out to interview
