Larchmont Man Drives Drunk With Cocaine

Alexis Soto, 23, was arrested early this morning for possession of cocaine and driving with a 0.16 percent blood-alcohol level.

After attempting to evade a police officer early this morning and committing several traffic violations as a result, Larchmont resident Alexis Soto, 23, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance—cocaine—and driving while intoxicated. Soto was pulled over and arrested in White Plains.

Possession in the fifth-degree is a felony, and driving while intoxicated is a misdemeanor. Soto was also ticketed for his traffic violations.

Soto initially caught the officer's attention by speeding down Mamaroneck Avenue at 2 a.m., according to reports by LoHud. After driving down a dead-end, police arrested Soto; he surrendered 1.2 grams of cocaine. At the station, Soto's blood-alcohol content was determined to be 0.16 percent.
