Larchmont Residents Seek OK to Rebuild Storm-Damaged Garages
Variances needed from Zoning Board of Appeals.

Larchmont property owners tonight are seeking village approval to rebuild storm-damaged garages.
The projects are the subject of discussion by the Larchmont Zoning Board of Appeals, which is set to meet at 8:15 p.m. at the Larchmont Municipal Building.
The owners of 22 Stuyvesant Ave. have applied for a zoning variance to rebuild an existing storm-damaged two-car garage. The project needs a special permit and a variance - a six-foot side yard setback is needed, but there is only two feet.

The owners of 20 Stuyvesant Ave. are also seeking a special permit to build a one-car garage at the rear of the property to replace a storm-damaged garage that did not conform to curent zoning standards.
In Addition, the owners of 8 Winslow Place are seeking variances to construct a two-story rear addition. The proposed structure is 23-feet-high, while the limit is 20-feet. Also, the project needs a 25-foot rear setback but only has 22.4 feet.
