Mamaroneck Police Blotters: May 29-June 5

The rear tires of a car are stolen; a Mamaroneck woman is arrested and charged with harassment in the second degree.

The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department investigated the following incidents last week:

Larceny

Between May 31 and June 1, a man reported the theft of personal items from his vehicle. The vehicle was parked on Mt. Pleasant Avenue.

Harassment

On June 4, at approximately 5:45 p.m., a Village of Mamaroneck woman verbally threatened another at 214 Center Ave. Fearing for her well-being, the second woman called the police, according to reports; the first woman was arrested and charged with harassment in the second degree, a misdemeanor.

Hit and run

-On June 6, at approximately 10:15 p.m., a vehicle sideswiped a parked car 786 Alling St., causing damage to the passenger-side door, police said. No arrests have been made.

In addition, police investigated:

-8 motor vehicle accidents

Due to a malfunction in the Police Department's electronic system, some information is unavailable at this time.

 

The Town of Mamaroneck Police Department investigated the following incidents last week:

Leaving the scene of an auto accident

On June 3, at 8:34 p.m., a man operating a motorcycle collided with a woman turning into her driveway on Hickory Grove Drive East. The motorcyclist fled the scene but was located nearby soon afterward. He has been charged with leaving the scene of an auto accident, following too closely and operating an unlicensed motorcycle.

Grand larceny

Between May 31 and June 1, a woman reported that the rear tires of her vehicle had been stolen from Burton Road. The charge is grand larceny in the fourth degree, but no arrests have been made.

In addition, police investigated:

-3 motor vehicle accidents

-2 motor vehicle accidents with minor injuries
