'Turtle Club' Estate Sets New Larchmont Record Sale Price Again
More than two centuries ago, George Washington and Benjamin Franklin dined on a colonial delicacy at the seaside home.

LARCHMONT, NY — A historic seaside estate just set the record for the priciest home sale in the history of the Village of Larchmont.
The home on Park Avenue just steps from Manor Park was sold for $11.3 million in a deal finalized shortly before the holiday, according to a report from the Real Deal's Sasha Jones. The previous record for the most expensive home sold in the village was $10.4 million — paid for the same home back in 2006.
"We went into contract within two weeks of the house being on market, which is not uncommon in this market, but it is uncommon in this price point," Mimi Magarelli of Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty told the real estate industry publication. "It validated the unique luxury of this property."
