Cops: Elderly Woman Dies in Levittown Fire

A fire broke out in a Levittown home early Tuesday morning, police said.

An elderly woman has died after she was caught in a fire in a Levittown home early Tuesday, according to Nassau County Police.

Cops said they received a call at 4:10 a.m. about a fire at on Wadsworth Avenue.

Officials confirmed one fatality in the fire. Police could not yet reveal identity of the victim but said she was an elderly woman.

A cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed.

No other injuries have been reported as of Tuesday morning.
