Crash Closes Westbound Hempstead Turnpike
Drivers should use an alternate route, as all lanes on the road are closed.
BETHPAGE, NY — A crash has closed all of the westbound lanes of Hempstead Turnpike in Bethpage.
Nassau County police say the road is closed between the exit for the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway and St. Joseph's Hospital.
There's no word yet on injuries from the crash, or what caused it.
