Divorce Diaries Comes to Levittown 12/2

Michele Traina is bringing Divorce Diaries (her one woman comedy show) to Governor's Comedy Club on 12/2 and you don't want to miss it.

Last Saturday, I enjoyed an evening of comedy thanks to Michele Traina's Divorce Diaries at the Lincoln Lodge in Chicago. I'm not here to brag about my fun night though. I'm here to spread the word Michele and Divorce Diaries are coming to Levittown this Friday.

The multi-talented Michele took the unfortunate event of her divorce and turned it into Divorce Diaries, her one woman comedy show. Staying true to her mantra of “healing through humor,” Michele takes us on a hilarious journey as she shares tales of her divorce and subsequent dating life, while mixing in stories about her New Jersey Italian family.

Divorce Diaries is pure entertainment. Refreshingly honest, Michele exposes her life and explores her emotions, healing herself and hopefully others in the process. Despite divorce being a featured topic, her humor is light-hearted. She also isn’t shy about poking at herself a bit, too.

Saturday's audience included young and old, single, married and divorced. All enjoyed the show, because it is relatable to everyone. Originating from her divorce, the show is about relationships and life in general.

As Michele wove through stories, I never felt like I was in a comedy club. I’m sure it was honed and well-rehearsed, but it always felt like Michele was sitting across the table regaling me with funny stories of her life. She reminded me of my Italian cousins at family gatherings.

With Divorce Diaries already a television show in development, this night was also recorded for an Amazon Prime special. My entertainer friend David Vox Mullen is the show’s producer and also served as the night’s emcee. Television show writer Alydar Skyy introduced the night. With that hilarious trio on the project, he Divorce Diaries tv show is very promising.

This Friday, Michele brings Divorce Diaries to Governor’s Comedy Club in Levittown. Fittingly, it is in The Giggle Room. The doors open at 6 pm for the 8 pm show. I'd recommend the Pre-show Dinner and VIP package, which includes up front seating. Of course, general admission is also available. Either way, get a ticket and see the show. You'll love it!
