Free Webinar: Using Neuroscience to Think about Prevention!!!
Join the Levittown Community Action Coalition and YES Community Counseling Center in their prevention efforts to protect our youth.

Please join YES and LCAC for this unique opportunity to explore and learn about the human brain, its strengths, and vulnerabilities in interactive and stimulating ways. The hijacking of the motivation/reward system by addictive drugs offers a compelling example of how this teaching opportunity can be translated into a prevention and education tool for building up resiliency in our communities.
This presentation is a friendly yet rigorous science-based universal prevention teaching tool that builds on the growing neuroscientific understanding of human behavior and mental disorders to explain vulnerabilities that emerge from the interaction between biological, developmental, and environmental factors, and the impact that addictive drugs and other toxic influences can have on brain circuitry and behavior.
