Levittown Memorial Day Parade Features Solemn Ceremony
The parade steps off on May 27 at 10 a.m.

LEVITTOWN, NY — In honor of America's military members who've died serving the country, the Levittown Memorial Day Parade takes place on Monday, May 27.
It starts at Island Trees Middle School & concludes with a solemn ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park with a rifle salute and the playing of Taps.
Those interested in marching should report to the school by 9:30 a.m. The largest Memorial Day parade on Long Island steps off at 10 a.m. After turning onto Shelter Lane, marchers pass the reviewing stand across from Veterans Memorial Park.

Those participating include Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9592, American Legion Post 1711, Museum of American Armor, Levittown School District and the Island Trees School District.
Members of the Levittown Fire Department and Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps will also join the parade route.
