
LEVITTOWN, NY — Levittown voters went to the polls on Tuesday to cast their ballots for the 2023-2024 school budget. It passed with 1159 "yes" votes, while 625 people gave a "no" to the budget proposal of $251,792,906, the school district said.
The tax levy increase is 0.99%.
Proposition #2: Use of $56 million in capital funds for renovations, passed with 1197 votes. There were 520 "no" votes.

Proposition #3: Establishing a new 2023 capital reserve for future work, passed with 1165 votes. There were 540 people voting it down. A separate vote will take place.
Proposition #4: The Levittown Library Budget passed: 1250 to 501.

Incumbents Jennifer Messina and Michael Pappas are re-elected to the Board of Education and Phyllis Dalton also won a seat. Margaret Santer defeated Marie Andreski for library trustee, 706-571.
