LEVITTOWN, NY — Levittown residents will head to the polls on Tuesday, May 16 to decide on the school district budget.

The proposed 2023-2024 budget is $251,792,906 with a tax levy increase of 0.99%.

districtwide communication system and more installing of air conditioning in classrooms.

Proposition 2 would allow $56 million to be used for various school renovations and upgrades. Proposition 3 would establish a new 2023 capital reserve. If approved, a separate vote would be required.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Division Avenue High School, East Broadway, Gardiners Avenue and Levittown Memorial Education Center.
