Levittown Students Ready to Make Sweet Music

Division Avenue and MacArthur will send musicians to perform at the Tilles Center in January.

Several student musicians from Division Avenue and MacArthur high schools in Levittown were selected to participate in the Nassau Music Educators Association All-County Festivals, which will be held at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts at LIU Post on Jan. 16.

The students’ selection was based on their individual New York State School Music Association evaluation scores and teacher recommendations, as well as on evaluations during solo performances at regional music festivals.
