LEVITTOWN, NY — The holiday season is upon us and, in Levittown, the annual Christmas tree lighting is coming soon.

The Chamber of Commerce is hosting the joyous event on Monday, Dec. 2. It takes place at Levittown Veterans Memorial Park on Hempstead Turnpike.

Entertainment will be provided by local schools, dance studios and community groups, the chamber said on its Facebook page.

Capping off the festive evening, which starts at 6 p.m., is a special appearance by Santa Claus.
