Making The Grade: Academic Achievers From Nassau County

Several students have been named to the Dean's List at various schools.

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — Patch is pleased to recognize some top students from across Nassau County.

  • William Leonard, East Meadow, named to Presbyterian College Spring 2023 President's List.

Leonard was one of 109 students who achieved a perfect 4.0-grade point average.

The SUNY New Paltz Dean's List for the spring includes:

Garden City students: Emmett Debrich from Stewart Elementary School, Reese Smith from Garden City Middle School and Madeleine McCarthy, Hunter Maguire and Shujin Chen from Garden City High School had winning selections in the Nassau Reading Council’s Young Authors’ Contest 2023.
