Man Seriously Injured After Being Hit By Car In Levittown
Police say the man was crossing Hempstead Turnpike when he was hit.
LEVITTOWN, NY — A man was seriously injured after he was hit by a car on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown Monday afternoon.
According to police, a 76-year-old man was crossing Hempstead Turnpike at Emerson Avenue at 1:13 p.m. Monday when he was hit by a car driven by an 82-year-old woman.
The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
