NYU Langone Opens New Health Center In Bethpage

The multi-service facility, built in the old King Kullen headquarters, is one of the largest of its kind in Nassau County.

BETHPAGE, NY — NYU Langone Health has opened a new ambulatory care center in Bethpage. Located at the former King Kullen headquarters on Central Avenue, it is now one of the largest care centers in Nassau County.

The 54,000-square-foot facility, located at 185 Central Ave., boasts 74 patient exam rooms, six procedure suites and a staff of 60 medical providers from 10 clinical areas.

“Our presence on Long Island continues to grow with the opening of an expansive care center in Bethpage,” said Andrew Rubin, senior vice president for clinical affairs and ambulatory care at NYU Langone. “In addition to Bethpage, we have more in store for the year ahead to bolster our care network and expand our scope of services in the community.”

Five existing medical practices from the area have relocated to the new center. The center can provide services in primary care, cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, orthopedics, pulmonology (specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders), rheumatology, surgical oncology and urology.

On-site services include x-rays, endoscopies, pulmonary function testing and noninvasive cardiac testing. Surgical procedures can be performed at NYU Langone Hospital — Long Island in Mineola.
