How do you know the teacher?

My son and daughter had her as a teacher

What does this person teach?

She is an elementary teacher

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Mrs. Phelan is a phenomenal teacher. She is retired after 30+ years of teaching. She is an inspiration to all the students she has taught. She pushed and inspired my children to reach for the stars. My son, who is a senior at Maritime College, where he studied mechanical engineering, still remembers Mrs. Phelan, his first-grade and favorite teacher. Mrs. Phelan should be recognized as an amazing, caring, loving and devoted teacher who retired to spend quality time with her family.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She was always dedicated to her students. She should be recognized as an extraordinary teacher who always went above and beyond for her students, parents and staff members
