Variety Children’s Learning Center’s Preschool/ Toddlers Winter Show
Performance held at VCLC Levittown Campus

Preschoolers and toddlers attending Variety Children’s Learning Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the development, education, and inclusion of children with differing abilities, recently presented a holiday concert performing songs of the season to the delight of parents, teachers, classmates, and administrators. In all, nine classes performed such seasonal favorites as Jingle Bell Rock, Snowman Freeze, I’m a Little Snow Man, The Snow is on my Head, and more.

Founded in 1966 by Judith Simon Bloch, Variety Child Learning Center is a not-for-profit school that is chartered by the New York State Board of Regents and regulated by the New York State Education Department (SED), Department of Health (DOH) and the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS). Variety’s goal is to promote the development, education and inclusion of children in need of additional services both in the school setting and the community. The organization provides a wide range of programs and services including: Childcare for children six weeks old to five years old, Home Program for children six weeks to six years old), Evaluation Center for children six weeks to eight years old, Early Intervention for children six weeks to three years old, Preschool Special Education Classes for children three to five years , English Language Preschool Classes, Related Services for children three to eight years old, Special Education Itinerant Services for children three to six years old, and Special Class in an Integrated Setting for children three to six years old, Spanish Bilingual Support for children three to five years old, Sunday Family Center Program/Respite for children three to ten years old and their families, Vacation Program for children three to ten years old, Universal Pre-K for children four years old, School Age Special Education Classes for children five to seven years old, as well as Occupational, Physical, Speech and Play Therapies based on a child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP), child psychological counseling and parent training. Variety’s professionals are licensed and/or certified in their profession. Variety’s professionals include special education teachers, school principals, social workers, psychologists, and speech, physical and occupational therapists, along with an experienced executive/leadership team.
