2 Charged With Prostitution After LI Massage Parlor Raid: Police
Two Queens women were arrested and charged with prostitution after police raided a Suffolk County massage parlor on Thursday, police say.
AMITYVILLE, NY — Two women were arrested during a massage parlor raid in Amityville on Thursday, according to Suffolk County police.
According to police, the raid occurred at the Eastern Foot Spa on Merrick Road around 3:30 p.m. in response to numerous community complaints.
Yu, Lien Hua, 38, of Flushing, was charged with two counts of unauthorized practice of a profession, a Class E felony, and two counts of prostitution, a misdemeanor, police said. Lin, Yan-Hua, 44, of Flushing, was charged with one count of unauthorized practice of a profession, a Class E felony, and one count of prostitution, a misdemeanor, police said.

Police said Yu and Lin were both issued desk appearance tickets and are slated to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
The Town of Babylon also issued multiple violations to the business.

First Precinct Crime Section officers, in conjunction with the Amityville Village Police Department, the Town of Babylon's fire marshal and building inspector, conducted an investigation, police said.
