2 LI Contractors Charged With Stabbing Father And Son Clients: Police
The contractors stabbed a father and teenage son while working on a home, police say.

COPIAGUE, NY — Two men were arrested and charged on Wednesday in the stabbing of a man and his teenage son in Copiague, after working as contractors on their house, Suffolk County Police said.
Selvin Mills, 50, and Savion Mills, 19, both of Deer Park, were each charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
At about 5:30 p.m., the Mills were working as contractors at a 44th St. house, when they involved in an altercation with two of the residents of the home.

The residents, a 34-year-old father and his 16-year-old son, were both stabbed during the altercation, police said.
The Mills then fled the scene in a work van and called 911 from a nearby gas station to report the incident.

The residents were taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Suffolk County Police First Precinct officers took the contractors into custody a short time later at
Valero gas station, located at 3359 Great Neck Road, in Copiague.
The Mills were held overnight and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Wednesday.
