Alleghany Avenue Hosting Holiday Night of Shopping on Friday
Fifth-graders' holiday shopping event kicks off this Friday night.
The fifth-graders at Alleghany Avenue Elementary School will be presenting "A Night of Holiday Shopping" at the school this Friday evening.
Over 20 different vendors and crafters will be on hand for the event at the elementary school, including many with catalogs filled with items to order from.
Many baskets donated by the attending vendors will be raffled off as well as a new iPad, which will be given away at the end of the night.
Santa Claus will also reportedly being on the scene, available for photographs with children.
The event will get under way at 7 p.m. and end around 9:30 p.m.
