Another Car Crash along Straight Path

This one produces no injuries, but marks the second one in less than a week along the same stretch of road in North Lindenhurst.

Straight Path chalks up another two-car accident in less than a week.

On Saturday morning at 9:17 a.m., Suffolk Police said, a 2004 Nissan Altima was going Northbound on Straight Path when a 2012 Jeep Patriot tried to make a left turn onto Southbound Straight Path from 52nd Street.

Police said the cars collided when the first car hit the front passenger door of the other vehicle.

Neither driver - both male - was injured, police said, and there were no charges.

The July 21 car accident just resulted in minor damage to the driver side door to the Nissan and bumper damage to the Jeep, police noted.

Police said there was also another separate, minor fender bender at Straight Path and Wellwood Avenue on Saturday morning.

There were no injuries or charges in that accident, police officials said.

These accidents all come on the heels of another car crash earlier this week on Straight Path at 43rd Street that .

And a two-car accident on Straight Path sent one of those cars into the front bay window of a home on 49th Street. The exterior of that home appears to have since been repaired.
