Applebee's Staff Don Denim to Raise Funds for Sandy Victims
Employees at the locations in Lindenhurst and across Long Island wear blue jeans to raise money for the American Red Cross and victims of the hurricane.

Before the holidays employees at Applebee’s Long Island restaurants put on their blue jeans in order to raise money for the American Red Cross and, in turn, Hurricane Sandy victims.
The week-long “Blue Jeans for Red Cross” program in December encouraged workers to wear jeans to work each day for a $1 donation to the ARC and its efforts to assist the victims of Sandy.
In total Applebee’s staff contributed $4,300 to the cause.
