At The Library: Winter Extravaganza, Toys for Tots Continues

Our local libraries are a source of both knowledge and entertainment, with informational and education events being hosted throughout the week.

The Lindenhurst Memorial Library often hosts these events for little or no charge, so check out the top events going on this week.

• The Toys for Tots collection will continue at the library through December 15.
• The Lindy Scrabble Club will meet for teens and kids this Wednesday at 4 p.m. Play the real words with friends and learn some spelling techniques!
• Head to the library on Monday at 6 p.m. and join an instructor from the Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum and learn how to roll a honeycomb beeswax candle, create a hanging ornament and a felt stocking for the holidays!
• Catch a free concert at the Vendettas return with a Rock and Roll Holiday Concert on Saturday starting at 2 p.m.
