Blood Drive Wednesday at Town Hall

The Town of Babylon is teaming up with New York Blood Center to host a Blood drive on Wednesday in Lindenhurst.

The Baseball Fever Blood drive will take place in a busmobile at Town Hall from 9:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call the office of Councilwoman Jacqueline Gordon at 631-957-3127. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite baseball jersey.

In order to be eligible, donors must weigh at least 110 lbs., be 16 (with signed parental consent) or older and bring a signature or picture ID.

If the drive reaches a goal of 40 donations, one donor will be chosen to receive a jersey from the favorite baseball team.

All qualified donors will entered to win a catered party up to $500 during the for the World Series.
