Bring Some 'Magic' Into Your Life: Babylon Adoptable Pet Of The Week

TOWN OF BABYLON, NY — Why not add a little "magic" to your life?

Magic, a 3 to 5-year-old pit bull terrier, is the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter's Adoptable Pet of the Week.

The shelter said that this brown-eyed boy came to them in terrible condition on Oct. 17, 2022.

He was emaciated and had wounds and skin infections throughout his body, they said.

"He was a trooper from day one though, and he has developed into a happy, sweet boy here," volunteers said.

Magic does have exercise needs, but nothing extraordinary for regular maintenance. He enjoys walks and getting to let loose in the yard as time is available.

Based on his condition coming in, Magic likely did not have much exposure to living inside a home, and he will need training and the time to acclimate to that.

"He is very willing to learn though and with guidance and love, we know he will become a great addition to your home," volunteers said. "Magic loves his snacks and that will help him to learn new things quickly!"
