Car Accident on Straight Path Sends Three to Hospital
Police say three people were injured in a two-car crash at 52nd Street on Thursday night.
A two-vehicle crash on Straight Path on Thursday evening injured three people.
According to Suffolk Police, the crash occurred at Straight Path and 52nd Street in North Lindenhurst at 5:18 p.m. yesterday.
Police said the driver of a 2010 Hyundai was traveling Northbound on Straight Path and the driver of a 2012 Nissan attempted to turn Westbound on 52nd Street when the two vehicles collided.

Three people were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police added.
Police officials had no other details about the October 4 crash.

However, this car collision comes after a spate of accidents on Straight Path over the Summer.
Two accidents in July produced no injuries, but in the same week in July a third accident injured three people.
A month later at the end of August, another accident on Straight Path injured two people.
And back in April a two-car accident on Straight Path sent one of those cars into the front bay window of a home on 49th Street. The exterior of that home appears to have since been repaired.
