Car Collision on Straight Path Injures Three People

Two men and one woman were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital.

A two-car crash in North Lindenhurst late Thursday night sends three to the hospital.

Suffolk Police said one vehicle was traveling Southbound on Straight Path and the other vehicle was traveling Northbound when the two cars collided.

The male driver of the vehicle traveling North - an Infiniti - failed to yield, police said, when attempting to make a turn, and collided with a Toyota, also driven by a male, traveling South, at 43rd Street in North Lindy.

The Toyota also had a female passenger, police noted.

All three people were transported to in West Islip via ambulance, and were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police officials also said no criminality was involved in the July 19 accident.
