LINDY CARES ANNOUNCES 2025 TRUE COLORS RUN TO CELEBRATE COMMUNITY, HEALTH AND PREVENTION
Lindenhurst, NY — Lindy Cares, in partnership with the Village of Lindenhurst, is thrilled to announce the 2025 True Colors Run: Run, Walk, Skip, taking place on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Fireman’s Park in Lindenhurst. This vibrant, family-friendly event begins at 8:00 AM and invites the community to come together in a celebration of unity, wellness, and prevention.
Participants can look forward to swag bags, raffles, music, and a splash of color in every step. Whether you're running, walking, or skipping, the True Colors Run is more than a race—it's a movement for health and wellness. Warm up at 8 AM with Sea Change Coaches and kick off with a blast of color at 9AM.
In addition to the fun, the event shines a spotlight on a serious mission: breaking down the stigma surrounding addiction. Educational materials and resources will be available to help families talk to their children about the dangers of drug and alcohol misuse. Knowledge is Power and Prevention Works!
The event is proudly supported by local partners across the Town of Babylon and Lindenhurst. Lindy Cares encourages families, educators, and community members to participate, volunteer, and spread the word. A connected community is a safer community
