Class of 2017 Welcomed to Lindenhurst High

The incoming class of freshman at Lindenhurst High School received warm greetings during their ninth-grade orientation.

The new class, also known as the Class of 2017, listened to Principal Daniel Giordano as he welcomed them to the building discussed the next four years of high school life.

Guidance Chairperson Barbara Donnellan spoke about what students should come to expect during their time in high school and reviewed their schedules with the students.

The new freshmen afterwards were taken on a tour of the building by student council and peer leaders. Those groups of students will assist the youngest class with advice and moral support as they begin their high school careers.
