Crash On Sunrise Highway Sunday In Lindenhurst Injures 1

LINDENHURST, NY — A crash Sunday evening in Lindenhurst sent one person to the hospital and disrupted traffic and electricity in the neighborhood for several hours.

Suffolk County Police First Precinct officers responded to the westbound Route 27 on-ramp to eastbound Route 109 in Lindenhurst at 9:52 p.m. following a report of a motor vehicle crash.

Their preliminary investigation revealed a 29-year-old woman driving a 2010 Lincoln sedan veered off the roadway and struck a utility pole.
