Dog Dies After Suffolk Man Leaves It In A Car In Hot Temps: SPCA
The dog was discovered to be deceased, SPCA says.
NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY — A North Amityville man was arrested and charged on Sunday, after his dog died while trapped in a car in hot temperatures, Suffolk County SPCA said.
Raymond Gonzalez, 60, was charged with multiple animal cruelty charges for leaving his 1 and a half year old male German shepherd-husky mix dog named "Koko" in a car for several hours unattended.
The dog was discovered to be deceased, SPCA said.

Gonzalez was also charged with making a false statement to the investigating detectives.
He is scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip, on Aug. 25.
