Fall Festival Features Scarecrow Making, Face Painting In Copiague

Children can make scarecrows and get their faces painted at a Fall Festival in Copiague over the weekend.

LINDENHURST, NY — Families are invited to join in the fun at a fall festival taking place at the Copiague Chamber of Commerce over the weekend.

Children can make a scarecrow, get fake tattoos, and have their faces painted on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 12 and 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Participants must bring children's clothing to stuff and an $18 donation for Kids Need More, an organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and families coping with cancer and serious illness.

Hay stuffing and a pumpkin head will be provided.

The event is hosted by Costello's Hardware and the Garden Center of Copiague.
