Fire Breaks Out At North Lindenhurst Residence: Police

NORTH LINDENHURST, NY — A fire that broke out at a North Lindenhurst garage on Thursday morning is currently under investigation, said Suffolk County Police.

At about 6:20 a.m., North Lindenhurst Fire Department received a call about a fire at a detached garage at a North Delaware Ave. residence off of Sunrise Highway, said Chief Kenneth Stallone.

Flames engulfed the garage, affecting its infrastructure, according to footage captured on social media.

East Farmingdale Volunteer Fire Company, West Babylon Volunteer Fire Department, and Lindenhurst Fire Department Suffolk County police also assisted. The fire was under control within 30 minutes, Stallone said.

No one was injured, officials said.
