Firefighters, Resident, Dog Injured In Suffolk House Fire
The fire broke out on Tuesday night, police say.

COPIAGUE, NY — Several firefighters, a resident, and a dog were injured in a Copiague house fire that broke out on Tuesday night, a Town of Babylon spokesperson told Patch.
At about 10:40 p.m., authorities responded to a house fire at 101 Surf Road.
A resident suffered minor burns to their hands and chest and they were taken to a hospital, the spokesperson said. Several firefighters were also treated at the scene for minor injuries.

It is not confirmed exactly how many firefighters were injured, officials said.
A dog was also taken to a veterinary hospital for burns.
