Five Below Announces Official Grand Opening Date In Lindenhurst

LINDENHURST, NY —Lindenhurst's new Five Below discount store is set to celebrate its grand opening on Friday, Nov. 1, a store representative told Patch.

In October, store reps told Patch that the date was still "tentative" and that the Five Below team "hoped" the grand opening would stay on track because "construction can sometimes have its little surprises."

But holiday shoppers can start checking gifts off of their list on Friday at the new store in Lindenhurst Plaza at 600 N Wellwood Ave.

Patch has been told the new location is around 9,500 square feet in size and will be open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Five Below launched in 2002 and currently has over 1,700 locations nationwide with 113 in New York, including stores in Bay Shore, West Babylon, Hauppauge, and Farmingdale.

The brand is known for its low prices, with most items priced at or below $5.
