Hit-And-Run Crash Hospitalizes Teen On Long Island: Police

A hit-and-run crash hospitalized a teen boy in front of a Long Island high school on Friday morning, Suffolk police say.

WYANDANCH, NY — A teenager was injured in a hit-and-run crash in front of a Long Island high school on Friday morning, Suffolk County police told Patch.

Police said a 14-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle in front of Milton Olive Middle School at the intersection of 35th St. and Garden City Ave. in Wyandanch around 8:30 a.m.

The vehicle fled the scene westbound on Garden City Avenue and the boy was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
