LHS Seniors Awarded for Driver Education

Lindenhurst High School seniors Alyssa Deprospo and Falon Kirby were honored with AAA’s Driver Education Award as the outstanding students in their school’s driver education course.

The students were selected based on their driving skills, knowledge of the rules of the road and a mature attitude and approach to driving, according to school officials.

Deprospo and Kirby were each presented with a personalized plaque and a gift certificate for a defensive driving class.

“They were truly deserving of this award,” said teacher Frank Devenuto.

Principal Dan Giordano was on hand when Deprospo and Kirby received their Driver Education Awards.
