A West Babylon Boy Scout leader faces trial for allegedly giving an underage Scout member alcohol and LSD.
According to police records, Lawrence Moschitta, 32, served as an assistant Scout master for Boy Scout Troop 183 and provided alcohol and acid to a 13-year-old Scout member.
Moschitta also used marijuana and LSD in the presence of the juvenile at his home on Broadway Ave. Dec. 3, records state.

Moschitta was arrested Dec. 13 and charged Dec. 15 with two misdemeanors, for failing to exercise control of a minor, and unlawfully dealing with a child, according to court documents. He was released on $2,500 bail or $5,000 bond.
Police say they believe this was an isolated incident, but officers are currently investigating with former and current troop members.

Moschitta is due in Suffolk First District Court Jan. 15.
