LI Teen Missing For More Than 1 Week: Police
A Long Island teen has been missing since last summer, Suffolk County Police Department announced Monday.
LINDENHURST, NY — A 16-year-old Lindenhurst teen has been missing for more than a week, Suffolk County Police Department announced Monday.
Katherine Monterosa-Herrera was reported missing on July 3, 2024.
She was last seen leaving her Lindenhurst residence with her belongings and her passport, according to police.

Police said she was last seen wearing blue jeans and a tan shirt. Monterosa-Herrera has brown eyes and brown hair, weighs around 120 pounds and is 5'4, police said.
Police are asking for the community's help locating her. Anyone with information can call 911 or 631-852-COPS.
