Lindenhurst Director Earns Top Technology Honor From BOCES
Jennifer Freedman was recognized for leadership in innovation, the district says.

LINDENHURST, NY — Lindenhurst Union Free School District’s Director of Instructional Technology and Innovation, Jennifer Freedman, has been honored with the Podolski Visionary Award, the highest technology recognition presented by Long Island’s three BOCES agencies.
The award, given at the Long Island Technology and Education Summit (LITES), honors educators who demonstrate exceptional vision, leadership, and commitment to advancing technology in schools. It is named after Fred Podolski, the late director of the Nassau BOCES Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Technology.
“Ms. Freedman most certainly exemplifies those characteristics and is a well-deserving award winner,” said Superintendent Vincent Caravana. “All of us in the Lindenhurst School District congratulate her on this tremendous achievement and thank her for her continued dedication to our school community.”
