LINDENHURST, NY — Lindenhurst is expected to experience moderate levels of flooding on Friday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
The flooding comes after the area received a rainstorm Wednesday night.
A coastal flooding hazard was issued on Thursday for southwest Suffolk County, near Islip, the National Weather Service announced.
