Update: Lindenhurst To Hold 3rd Annual St. Patrick's Parade

Here's information about the parade route, parking and road restrictions.

LINDENHURST, NY — The 3rd annual Lindenhurst St. Patrick's Parade will take place March 23.

The 2024 Parade will be led by Grand Marshal Kevin J. McCaffrey, Presiding Officer of the Suffolk County Legislature. A resident of Lindenhurst, McCaffrey began his career in government 34 years ago as a Lindenhurst Village Trustee. He has served as a Suffolk County Legislator for the past 10 years, and was twice elected by his peers to serve as Presiding Officer of the Legislature. Still an active member of the Lindenhurst Community, he has chosen the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition and Tunnel to Towers Foundation as co-recipients of the 2024 Parade’s charitable donation.

Thanks to the support of sponsors, such as Belfast Gastropub, Danaher Wealth Management, Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce, OLPH Knights of Columbus Council #794, National Grid, East Neck Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lindenhurst Business Improvement District, Pino Wine Bar & Bistro, and Suffolk AME, among many others, the Third Annual Lindenhurst St. Patrick’s Parade will see hundreds of Irish pipers, drummers, dancers, local firefighters, scouting troops, fraternal groups, community organizations, businesses, and elected officials march down Wellwood Avenue, through the beautiful, historic Lindenhurst Downtown Business District.

The parade will begin at noon on Lindenhurst Fireman’s Park & Village Park, travel west on Hartford Street, turn south onto Wellwood Avenue, and end at Gates Avenue.

The cross streets along the parade route will be barricaded starting at 10 a.m.

Parking near the park and along Wellwood Avenue will be restricted on Parade Day.

The Lindenhurst St. Patrick’s Parade was conceived by Parade Committee Co-Presidents David Crowe, Proprietor of Lindenhurst’s Belfast Gastropub, and RJ Renna, Lindenhurst Village Trustee. Also on the Parade Committee are Presiding Officer McCaffrey, and Committee Secretary Katie Schrader.
