LINDENHURST, NY — A 24-year-old Long Island resident has been missing since December, Suffolk County Police Department announced Monday.

John Prunty was reported missing on Dec, 29 after he did not return to his home on S. 9th Street in Lindenhurst, police said.

Police said he has brown eyes and black hair.
