Lindenhurst Officials To Raise Irish Flag On St. Patrick's Day
The long-time tradition will take place on Friday.

LINDENHURST, NY — This St. Patrick's Day, Lindenhurst will honor a long-time tradition.
Village officials will raise the Irish Flag in front of Lindenhurst Village Hall, located at 430 South Wellwood Avenue, on Friday at about 12 p.m., to honor the holiday, a release said.
The Irish flag was donated last year to the Village by David Crowe, Co-President of the Lindenhurst St. Patrick’s Parade Committee, and the management team at Irish bar and restaurant, Belfast Gastropub.

"Our St. Patrick’s Parade is a community-wide event, celebrating Irish culture and honoring the Irish-American heritage," said trustee RJ Renna, co-president of the Lindenhurst St. Patrick’s parade committee.
Lindenhurst will host its second annual St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 25.
