LINDENHURST, NY — The Lindenhurst St. Patrick's Parade has been postponed to March 30. It was originally set for March 23, but heavy rain is in the forecast.
The third annual parade will still be led by Grand Marshal Kevin J. McCaffrey, Presiding Officer of the Suffolk County Legislature.
A resident of Lindenhurst, McCaffrey began his career in government 34 years ago as a Lindenhurst Village Trustee. He has served as a Suffolk County Legislator for the past 10 years, and was twice elected by his peers to serve as Presiding Officer of the Legislature. Still an active member of the Lindenhurst Community, he has chosen the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition and Tunnel to Towers Foundation as co-recipients of the 2024 Parade’s charitable donation.
