Lindenhurst Students Honored at Annual Breakfast

Lindenhurst Middle School students are nominated for a variety of reasons and were publicly recognized at Lindencrest Diner Dec. 15.

Lindenhurst Middle School students were honored at the Breakfast for Champions celebration Dec. 15.

The 18th annual breakfast was held at the Lindencrest Diner and honored students who exemplified “Lindy Pride” during the school year, according to a school press release.

Students are nominated by teachers for a variety of reasons and are recognized publicly in front of proud parents, teachers and peers, the release states.

Students received their certificates of merit from Principal Frank Naccarato, who told them about their ability to contribute in the classroom.

“You have the power every day to turn your teachers’ day around and put a smile on their faces,” he said.
